Construction Projects - The Safety and Health Plan is prepared on a preliminary basis by the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP). It must be relevant to the particular project and will be developed by the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) prior to the commencement of construction work and updated as the project progresses.
O'Dwyer Safety Services can assist the PSDP or PSCS in the development of a preliminary plan and the Construction stage plan.
The Safety and Health plan provides the blueprint for managing and co-ordinating safety and health during construction and needs to explain how the key safety and health issues will be managed.
A member of the OSS consultancy team will work with your project personnel to develop a safety and health plan specific to the project, focusing on the particular project risks and the control measures required to reduce the risk of injury and ill health during the construction project.
A well prepared safety and health plan can be effective communication tool and minimizes the risk of poor project planning, misinformation, lack of co-ordination and reduces the risk of injury and ill-health during the construction project.
O'Dwyer Safety Services have developed numerous construction safety and health plans for small and large contractors acting as the PSDP and PSCS.
