COURSE SUITABLE FOR:

 Any food worker involved in the preparation, serving or delivery of food is legally required to complete the Food Hygiene & Safety Course.

This course is essential for chefs, kitchen staff, waitressing staff, food delivery drivers, bar staff etc... 

 

COURSE AWARD:

 Enviromental Health Officer Association Certificate

This course is currently being reviewed for Fetac accrediation & therefore can be counted as a module.

COURSE DURATION:

 The Environmental Health Office have issued a directive that The Food Hygiene & Safety Course must be delivered over a minimum of two sessions.

We generally deliver this course over 2 days; the contact time will vary on the experience & knowledge of the group participants.

Delivering this course over 2 days allows participants to fully absorb the information and enhance their knowledge and learning. It also facilitates completion of their workbook and enables participants to ask questions & queries the following day. 

Our participant evaluation feedback suggests a 2 day course format is preferred.

 Participants will undergo a theory written assessment on the last day of the course.

COURSE LOCATIONS:

Courses can be delivered onsite at your company or we can organize a suitable venue close to your location ; Tipperary, Limerick, Shannon etc...

 

VENUE REQUIREMENTS:

Room suitable to seat people comfortably (with tables /desks if possible) and suitable area for demonstrations.
